God himself, he is our treasure. His global cause, it is our own. In truth and love, we will endeavor. To draw all nations to his throne.

Since they said "I do" to each other on June 23rd, 1990, this has been Barry and Alicia's vision statement for their marriage and family.

Today, the Chole's fun-filled tribe of five lives off of a dirt road in the Ozarks of Missouri in a home devoted to writing and reflection.

Through the miracle of adoption, Barry and Alicia are the overjoyed parents of three outrageously creative children. Their eldest is gifted with Asperger's Syndrome, their middle is graced with extroverted compassion, and their youngest is currently seeking to master burping the ABCs.

They home school part-time, parent full-time, and laugh a lot to stay sane... and are the happy guardians of 4 rescued dogs, 2 odd cats, and 13 unusually social chickens.

Throughout each season of their ministry together, two emphases have remained constant: missional living and mentoring hearts. From University students to professionals in transition, Barry and Alicia are continually investing in the next generation of leaders and learners.

Barry's doctorate focused upon third-culture kids in transition. After decades of investing in missions and university students, Barry's love for all nations and his professional training have wonderfully converged in this season in service to college-aged international students and missionary kids. Alicia is a speaker, writer, and mentor who loves thunderstorms, organic earthy teas, and anything with jalapenos. Visit www.truthportraits.com to hear her heart and explore her resources.
